Our client is a well established and growing business with impressive offices in High Wycombe. They have a new permanent requirement in their marketing team for a Product Marketing Manager.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, typical duties will be to:
- Produce a marketing plan for each product group in the defined portfolio.
- Communicate and train the vision and value of all products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the sales process.
- Create content such as case studies, Operative techniques, Clinical Results, instructional videos, literature, website & Social Media copy and blog posts with other members of the marketing team and sales teams as well as external companies.
- For new products, work with Beta sites to generate customer success stories.
- Work with UK & International Key Opinion leaders (KOL’s) to help build awareness and adoption of all products.
- Write and execute detailed product launch plans.
- Obtain insights into customers’ usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data.
- Work with PR agencies at relevant and appropriate times to raise the company profile and increase brand awareness.
- Use market research data to establish and recommend product pricing to the Marketing Director.
- Working with all relevant departments to ensure each product is effectively introduced to the market and continues to be successful.
- Present on products to both external and internal audiences to create interest and excitement.
- Assist in the market testing of new products.
- Undertake Research on competitor offerings and utilise findings to update the marketing plan.
- Review inventory levels and work with The Buyer to ensure product availability.
- Produce a monthly report to update the Leadership Team on progress and opportunities.
The ideal candidate should have proven marketing experience with a degree in life sciences or similar field. A background in the medical sector is desirable. You must be a strong communicator, able to work to deadlines, with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset. Strong IT skills are essential, along with a good understanding of digital marketing and social media.
On offer is a base salary of £50,000 – £60,000 plus bonus, a car allowance and an enhanced benefits package. There is also a hybrid working arrangement and free onsite parking, as well as the opportunity to travel.
