Our client is an established and growing multi-sited business looking to recruit a permanent Accounts Administrator at their Hemel Hempstead office.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the role will involve:
- Raising approximately 100 month-end sales invoices using the company’s management system and uploading them into the accounts software.
- Credit Control.
- Coding and obtaining manager approval for approximately 250 supplier invoices per month.
- Processing and checking credit card payments.
- Processing all bank transactions.
- Supporting the effective running of the department through general administration.
- Assisting in managing the Accounts mailbox.
- Sending customer statements and responding to queries.
- Maintaining customer records on both the management system and accounting software.
- Preparing payment runs and processing payments via BACS.
- Checking and processing employee expenses claims.
Candidates that apply should have previous Accounts Admin experience, with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. You must be a strong communicator, both verbally and written as well as possess good systems skills, in particular Excel.
On offer is a starting salary of 28-30k (depending on experience), a comprehensive benefits package, including enhanced holiday with the option to buy/sell days. The role will be predominantly based onsite, with the possibility of a day working from home after probation. There is also free onsite parking.
