Customer Service Representative

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, highly organised Customer Service Representative to join a growing, customer-focused business. You will manage enquiries, process orders and leases, coordinate with internal teams and ensure customers receive accurate, responsive support from initial contact through to completion.The role

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will support customers and the commercial team by managing quotes, lead times, orders and external logistical requirements. You will take ownership of requests and issues, ensuring every interaction is handled professionally, accurately and with a strong customer-first mind set.

Key responsibilities

  • Process customer purchase orders and lease requests across a range of products and services.
  • Respond to customer enquiries, providing accurate information on products, quotations and lead times.
  • Work closely with Commercial, Operations, Logistics and other internal teams to manage requests through to completion.
  • Deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience, keeping customers informed at every stage.
  • Take ownership of assigned customer complaints and incidents, coordinating the appropriate teams to achieve a full and timely resolution.
  • Maintain excellent standards of accuracy, service and communication while meeting agreed performance targets.
  • Participate in training and development activities to build product knowledge and support continuous improvement.
  • Provide additional support as required within a busy, collaborative customer service environment.

About you

  • At least two years’ customer service experience, ideally within a fast-paced B2B, operational, logistics, manufacturing or supply-chain setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a methodical and accurate approach to work.
  • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365 and customer or order-management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, with the confidence to investigate issues and communicate solutions clearly.
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time-management skills.
  • Calm, professional and resilient when working under pressure.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to build effective relationships across several teams.
  • A full UK driving licence, right to work in the UK and willingness to travel to other sites if & when required.
  • Experience of specialist ERP, CRM or order-management systems would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
