Our client, with an international presence within manufacturing is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their growing and busy team.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, you are able to predominantly work from home with visits to the office required once or twice a month when overseas staff are in the office, this could be 2-3 days at a time. There is also some ad-hoc overseas travel required from time to time.
Responsibilities:
- Making valuable analysis or being able to identify issues and solve them to prevent risks (ex.: retrospective payments)
- Analysing the revenue and cost of goods across the group’s entities and reconcile them to the business
- Gap analysis of the revenue and cost + balance sheet movements to manage any risks to the business
- Providing any improvements in the calculation of cost of goods over entities to assure the accuracy of the margin (including consumption and inventory valuation)
- Managing other finance topics in the group to help the lead BP, GM, and business stakeholders
- Contribute to managing issues relating to Tax, Financials, prices, and deliveries in connection with BPs, Finance Share Services Centre (FSSC) and local teams
- Supporting the budget and business forecast processes, making analysis accordingly
- Providing data for the cash forecast to Finance Share Services Centre (FSSC)
- Supporting the payroll process (reconciliations of data vs financial system)
- Monitoring the update of unit and costs prices across the group’s entities (mainly Sweden and UK)
- Controlling the recharges of costs to suppliers (quality costs, inflation, or material price compensation to IC or external)
Required qualifications, experiences:
- Good business and process controlling skills with valuable suggestions of improvement
- Knowledge of any ERP and IT tools including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of accounting and analysis of financials from an ERP and business systems (BI.)
- Knowledge of international accounting standards or any local GAAP standard
- Very good inter-personal and verbal/written English communication skills
- Very good Excel skills
- Results focussed
- Excellent trouble shooting & problem-solving skills
- A good ability to work with teams in different countries remotely
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Finance and Accounting
- A minimum of 2 years of experience within a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing or logistics industry
- Ability to travel in Europe (including UK)
- An additional language would be of an advantage but not essential
