CALLING ALL MARKETING GRADS!!!

About the role

Looking to start a career in Online Advertising? Our client is looking for an analytic fanatic with a creative spark to join their team of specialists in the heart of Bicester.

Your role will primarily involve working directly with our clients PPC delivery team to help us setup and manage awesome paid advertising campaigns across the Google and Microsoft channels (including Search, Shopping, and Display Campaigns), and via paid social channels such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

This role will involve a lot of performance analysis of the campaigns our client is running for customers whose businesses span a wide variety of different industry sectors. One minute you might be working with an electronics brand, the next maybe an industrial B2B type. The diversity of work means you’ll rarely have a dull day. You’ll then get to implement the changes decided following on from the analysis helping to keep the campaigns nice and optimised.

You’ll help to launch new campaigns which involves performing keyword and audience research, and then setting up new campaigns and building ads. As your knowledge and experience grows you will also have the opportunity to manage your own accounts, and will become the main point of contact for a number of customers.

While the role is largely campaign and client management, there will be opportunities to get stuck in and help the wider business. Internal marketing, business development, and planning are all responsibilities that can be shared if this is something you have an interest in.

The Individual

We didn’t just say “analyticfanatic” because it sounded good (well, maybe a little); being comfortable around large volumes of data is a must for this role. We don’t need you to be an Einstein-level maths whizz, but a strong numerical base is crucial. In addition, you’ll also be comfortable analysing the data from campaigns and be able to weave this into narratives that our clients customers will not only understand but appreciate.

You need to be comfortable dealing with people, and have the ability and confidence to clearly present information both internally and externally via a number of different mediums, whether it’s written or verbal. Passion, ambition and curiosity are all great traits in any candidate as they demonstrate your ability to be a good team player who will contribute to our clients ongoing success.

About the company

Our client is more than just a team of PPC specialists, they are constantly looking to expand their knowledge, always looking to improve using the latest innovations. They like to think of themselves as a fun lot – they have a strong sense of team, embrace unique personalities and celebrate the things that make each person different. This is a mentality we’ll be looking for you to share.

What’s In It For You?

As our client progresses and develops as a company, you will too. They are committed to ensuring that you’re constantly learning new skills, being challenged while also feeling valued and supported. They will develop a training programme tailored specifically to help you get up to speed with what they do, learn how everything works, and pass your Google exams while ensuring that your strengths and passions are being nurtured.

They are an “anti-agency” agency, as strange as that may sound. While they are a modern team who offer flexibility, they try to avoid at all costs the superficial vibes that so many agencies shoot for. So if you like the idea of working in digital marketing, rather than the reality of working in digital marketing, this position won’t be for you.

But if you have a desire to become really good (and by that we mean, really really good) at an aspect of digital marketing that isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, we’d love to hear from you.

About the company

Our client is just starting a new chapter in our agency, having recently moved into a brand new office space in the heart of one of Oxfordshire’s finest business communities. The space has been designed to maximise productivity, and is a beautiful space to work. It’s also based in the centre of town where we have many shops and restaurants on our doorstep – fancy a Nando’s lunch? You got it! Got a coffee craving? Costa is just around the corner!

Their friendly atmosphere, coupled with our resident office dog, Nala makes our client a forward-thinking, relaxed company that doesn’t try too hard to be trendy. Flexi-time and the ability to work from home are central to our culture. Most importantly, we value a great work-life balance above all.
